Mr. Bibart is a founding member of the law firm of Gordon Bibart, LLC. A substantial portion of Mr. Bibart's practice is devoted to advising clients with respect to the formulation, negotiation and implementation of business strategies and transactions, with an emphasis on the federal tax planning aspects.

Mr. Bibart also advises clients on a wide variety of general business and federal tax matters, including entity selection, partnership taxation, the tax treatment of limited liability companies, executive employment agreements, many other types of business agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to forming Gordon Bibart, LLC, Mr. Bibart was of-counsel with Carlile Patchen Murphy LLP. Mr. Bibart also is a former partner of Porter, Wright Morris Arthur and Baker Hostetler, LLP, where he practiced in the business and tax areas. From 1984 to 1987, Mr. Bibart served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Red Roof Inns, Inc. one of the largest privately held motel chains in the U.S. Beginning in 1987, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Red Roof Inns and in 1989 he was promoted to the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer of Red Roof Inns. Mr. Bibart also served in various capacities with a number of affiliates of Red Roof Inns, including TrueSports Co., the winner of the 1986 Indianapolis 500 and two CART championships (where he also served on the team's pit crew for several years).

Mr. Bibart is a member of the Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations, as well as several of the tax and business sections of those organizations. Mr. Bibart is a past president of the Board of Trustees of Northside Child Family Development Center, and he currently serves on the Board of A Call to College. Mr. Bibart received his undergraduate degree in economics from Harvard College in 1964 and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in December 1966, as a member of the Class of 1967.

In addition to Ohio courts, Mr. Bibart also has been admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio.
