Chris Lenzo is a partner inthe New Jersey law firm of Lenzo Reis, LLC. He represents employees inemployment law matters, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, triallitigation, and appellate litigation of claims of discrimination, harassment,whistleblower retaliation, wrongful discharge, failure to accommodatedisabilities, family and medical leave violations, breach of contract, and wageand hour violations.

In his practice, Chris has litigated several reported cases, some of whichinvolved landmark decisions. He and his colleague Claudia Reis won a $1.549million jury verdict in a retaliation case against New Jersey Transit after amonth-long trial during 2009.

From 2014 to 2018, Mr. Lenzo was among the Top 100 New Jersey Super Lawyersreceiving the most votes from other members of the bar. He has been included inthe Thomson Reuters list of New Jersey Super Lawyers in the areas of labor andemployment law and plaintiffs employment litigation since 2005.*

In December 2020, Mr. Lenzowas nominated by his peers and elected by the Board of the American BarFoundation (ABF) to be a Fellow of the ABF. The Fellows comprise aglobal honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whosepublic and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to thehighest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of theircommunities. Membership in the Fellows is limited to 1% of licensed lawyers ina jurisdiction. The ABF is committed to expanding knowledge andconfronting injustice of all kinds, including racial injustice. The ABFsresearch, programming, writing, and policy recommendations have helped move thelegal profession and society as a whole toward greater equality and justice.

Mr. Lenzo served on the Employment Law Subcommittee of the New Jersey SupremeCourt Model Civil Jury Charge Committee for twelve years.
