Professional Experience
Phil joins Helsell Fetterman as a member of the firms litigation practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Phil worked as an attorney for a plaintiffs firm that specialized in asbestos-related injury claims. He is also a former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the King County Prosecuting Attorneys Office, and a former Assistant City Prosecutor with the Seattle City Attorneys Office. Phil has tried numerous cases to jury verdict and brings his extensive experience in the courtroom to Helsell.
Phil graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2012, where he was a former member and co-president of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Student Association, a former member of the Black Law Student Association, and former member of the Student Bar Association. He also served as a teaching assistant for Criminal Law and Property Law. During law school, Phil was a judicial extern to the Honorable James P. Donohue, Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court, Western District of Washington.
Before law school, Phil graduated from Whitman College in 2009, receiving Bachelors of Arts degrees in Philosophy and Economics.
