Born and raised in Honolulu, Jordon graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a degree in mathematics, achieving the highest honors designation in his major. He then returned home to attend the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law (Richardson), where he received numerous scholastic awards, including the Phi Delta Phi Balfour National Scholarship for scholastic merit and awards for obtaining the highest grades in Advanced Torts Insurance Law, Negotiation/Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Second Year Seminar. Jordon served as a Comments Editor for Richardsons law review and a Senior Writing Associate Teaching Assistant for the Richardson Writing Center Board. In 2009, he graduated summa cum laude from Richardson.

As part of his commitment to giving back to the community, he provides pro bono assistance to the Sex Abuse Treatment Center at Kapiolani Medical Center and is an officer and director of the non-profit Hawaii Coalition Against Sex Assault and a director of the non-profit University Health Partners of Hawaii (formerly known as UCERA).

Outside the office, Jordon enjoys exploring traveling the world with his wife and being immersed in unique cultures and re-exploring old favorites, training for half-marathons (he retired from marathons after his fourth), and catching up on the latest movies.
