Consistent with this experience, Mr. Goldberg enjoys a working relationship with the leadership of most contracting agencies in the area. He is a member of the MOLES, a fraternal engineering organization in the heavy construction industry, and the most prestigious organization of its kind in the world.
Mr. Goldberg served as Chairman of the New York Building Congress Public Procurement Committee, as well as General Counsel to the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA)-Metro New York/New Jersey Chapter. He also serves as Legal Counsel Chair to CMAA National, General Counsel to the Subcontractors Trade Association (STA) and Counsel to the Association of Electrical Contractors, Inc. (AEC). In addition, Mr. Goldberg has also served five terms as President of the Construction Financial Management Associations (CFMA) New York City Chapter. He also served as Counsel to the CFMAs, Long Island Chapter, where he was a founding member of its Board of Directors.
Mr. Goldberg is active in most other construction industry associations including the Associated General Contractors of America, the General Contractors Association of New York, the Construction Industry Council of Westchester and Hudson Valley, the Long Island Contractors Association, the National Contract Management Association, and the American Bar Associations Public Contract Law, Fidelity and Surety Law, Construction Litigation and Construction Industry Forum Committees. Mr. Goldberg is the Editor-In-Chief of Federal Contract Management-A Manual for The Contract Professional published by LexisNexis (2017). He also served on the National Advisory Committee of The Journal of Construction Accounting and Taxation published by Warren Gorham Lamont and was appointed as Expert Advisor to the American Arbitration Association.
