His early experience as both a state assistant attorney general and general counsel to Georgias Department of Natural Resources enriches his understanding of the objectives of both the regulator and the regulated. It has also helped Greg develop consensus for environmental statutes and administrative rules related to hazardous waste and water quality. His litigation experience has included defending agricultural waste management practices, such as land application systems.

Local governments have turned to Greg for counsel on water supply issues, including multidistrict litigation known as the Tri-State Water Wars, a highly complex, decades-long battle between Georgia, Alabama and Florida over water allocation.
