Andrea L. Fair - Lawyer in Longview, TX

Before joining Ward, Smith Hill in2016, Andrea Fair spent five years in Houston, where she practiced complexcommercial litigation. There her practice focused on patent infringement,construction disputes, and insurance coverage and defense work. She has handledevery stage of litigation, from taking and defending depositions, preparingpre-trial and post-trial briefings, and handling pre-trial and post-trialhearings, to trying cases to jury verdict or final arbitration award.

Since then, Ms. Fair has continued toexpand her courtroom experience, serving as lead trial counsel, participatingin jury selection, examining and cross-examining fact and expert witnesses, aswell as handling oral argument on pretrial, discovery, and other motions. Agraduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Ms. Fair holds degrees inEconomics and Spanish Teaching.

Ms. Fair earned her law degree with HighHonors from The University of Texas School of Law in 2011, where she washonored as a member of the Order of Barristers, a member of the Order of theCoif, and a 2011 Chancellor. She is licensed to practice in the State of Texas,the United States district courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, andWestern districts of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for theFifth Circuit.
