After graduating in 1979 from Louisiana State Universitys Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Mr. Womack won judicial clerkships in the Louisiana State District and Appellate Courts. Afterwards, in 1984, he began private practice with Durrett, Hardin, Hunter, Dameron Fritchie, working under Roger M. Fritchie, one of the premier trial lawyers in Louisiana. While working for Roger Fritchie, Mr. Womack began representing hospitals and physicians, defending medical malpractice, general liability, and medical staffing cases.Upon the death of Mr. Fritchie, Mr. Womack moved his practice to Taylor Porter, where he is a partner. At Taylor Porter, Mr. Womack has continued the representation of hospitals and physicians, but additionally, has expanded his practice into the areas of toxic tort and environmental regulatory work.Mr. Womack currently serves as a director for the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
