He has litigated and tried cases as second chair in state and federal courts in Texas, and has litigated cases in federal courts in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, North Carolina, and West Virginia. He has assisted in briefing appeals before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Eleventh Circuits and has arbitrated cases under the American Arbitration Associations Commercial and Construction Rules. He also has represented clients involved in government civil investigations.

A former advanced placement high school teacher and coach, Mr. Bell understands the necessity of setting clear goals and objectives with clients and co-counsel, the importance of consistent communication, the need to balance hard work and efficiency, and the expectation to be prepared and perform strongly. His educational foundation, paired with legal experience and comprehension of applicable laws, allows him to convert and convey complex issues into concise and understandable messaging for clients, juries and judges, and provide staunch, sophisticated, and common-sense representation for clients. A Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law graduated, he interned with the U.S. Department of Labor and the Rockwall County (Texas) District Attorneys Office.
