Mr. Coplan's Bachelor's degree in Accounting and his extensive business experience allow him to focus on transactional and corporate work. Mr. Kaplan has been in private legal practice since 1974. His collaboration with Bart Simpson Eldridge Hersh and Jardine, P.C. began in 1990.

Mr. Coplan has worked for more than 25 years as a “full-time consultant” for corporate clients, providing advice and representing interests in all aspects of business, development and management. Mr. Coplan's practice focuses on representing the interests of all subcontractors specializing in insurance and recovery contracts.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Copeland worked as a full-time consultant for Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc., a major electrical contractor.
