James J. "Jim" Murphy III - Lawyer in Dallas, TX

Jim has prepared and prosecuted more than 500 patent applications covering a wide array of inventions, both in the United States and overseas, and he has extensive technical experience in electronic memories and audio signal processing, including hardware and associated software, computer circuits and architectures, and microwave devices and systems.

Jim received his J.D., graduating magna cum laude, from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California. Prior to law school, Jim earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California. Jim has over 25 years of experience working as an intellectual property attorney and previously worked for a full-service, national law firm. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jim worked as a systems engineer in an aircraft company in California.
