He also currently represents domestic clients before the AAA andvarious state and federal courts. Chad has successfully litigated more than$2.5 billion in disputes. His typical range of projects includes representingowners and contractors in the construction and design of energy projects,airports, military bases, power plants, environmental and closure projects,cogeneration plants, oil refineries, hospitals, high-rises, off-shore platforms,hotels, resorts, and a variety of other commercial and industrial constructionprojects. He also has extensive experience in the aircraft, locomotive, andshipbuilding industries. Before joining Jones Walker, Chad practiced in theAtlanta office of an Am Law 100 firm, where he was a partner on theconstruction and infrastructure team. Prior to law school, Chad worked as aclaims consultant on commercial and government contracts involving projectschedule delivery, strategic planning, schedule risks, inefficiency claims, anddelay analyses. His work included the preparation and review of claims fordelay, disruption, acceleration, and quantifying interruption impacts. Chad isco-editor for the annual Construction Law Update, Wolters Kluwer, acontributing author of the World of Arbitration and Mediation Report, anda former adjunct professor of construction law at Southern Polytechnic StateUniversity in Georgia.
