Amanda Russo Schenck obtained her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Louisiana State University in 2003 and her law degree from Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law in 2006. While at Loyola, Amanda was the Vice-president of the Student Bar Association, a Student Practitioner in the Family Law Section of the Loyola Law Clinic, and a teaching assistant in the Research and Writing Lab.
