Lauren A. Khouri - Lawyer in Washington, DC

Ms. Khouri represents clients in cases of pregnancydiscrimination, sexual harassment, disability discrimination,student and employee rights under Title IX, age discrimination, andretaliation, as well as all types of discrimination and retaliation protectedby federal and state law. Ms. Khouri advocates for clients in all aspects ofthe firm's litigation docket, including discovery, depositions, hearings,trials, and appeals. She is a recognized leader in the community for heradvocacy on behalf of employees and students.

Before joining Correia Puth, Ms. Khouri served as afellow at the National Womens Law Center, where she worked for womenseconomic security and equality in education and employment, sought to protectthe rights of pregnant and parenting students and employees, and advocated toincrease protections against discrimination in the workplace and schoolsthrough administrative actions and legislative advocacy.

Ms. Khouri serves on the board of the MetropolitanWashington Employment Lawyers Association (MWELA), a voluntary bar associationof attorneys who routinely represent employees and who advocate for employeerights. She is also an active member of MWELAs national umbrella organization,the National Employment Lawyers Association. Ms. Khouri serves on the Board of Directorsof Teaching for Change, a nonprofit that supports educators who advancesocial change through classroom instruction. Ms. Khouri is admitted topractice law in New York and the District of Columbia.
