Wes Achey is a member of Alston Birds IntellectualProperty Litigation Team. Wess practice includes all areas of intellectualproperty litigation and counseling, with a particular emphasis on patentlitigation and enforcement. He has represented clients in patent infringementlawsuits in federal district courts across the United States, including casesinvolving telecommunications, computer software and various mechanical devices.He is a member of the Georgia Bar and is also registered to practice before theU.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Wes received his J.D., magna cum laude, in 2004 from the GeorgiaState University School of Law, where he served as associate editor of the GeorgiaState Law Review. He earned his B.S. in industrial engineering in 2001 fromthe Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with honors.
