Mr. Weinstein is the senior partner of Weinstein Tippetts Little. Prior to founding WTL, he served as the managing partner and litigation section leader of the Houston office of Pillsbury Winthrop, an international full service law firm, and also as co-leader of that firms national product liability practice section. He started his career in 1981 as a trial lawyer with Fulbright Jaworski in Houston, and later formed his own boutique litigation firm, concentrating on complex commercial, product liability, and tort litigation.

Mr. Weinstein has tried over a hundred cases to jury verdict and is routinely retained to handle high-exposure litigation matters across the country in both commercial and personal injury matters. He has successfully obtained multimillion dollar recoveries for corporate clients in complex business disputes and defended catastrophic product liability and personal injury lawsuits in some of the countrys most hostile venues.

His extensive litigation experience spans complex commercial issues (fraud, breach of contract, successor liability, etc.), product liability (medical devices, vehicles and automotive components, machines and tools, etc.) and general tort matters (nursing homes, kidnapping and assaults on commercial property). His clients include multinational product manufacturers, for some of which he serves as coordinating national counsel in the automotive component industry. He also represents clients with national and international interests in transportation, energy, industrial materials and manufacturing. His litigation experience also includes aviation, trade secret and patent infringement, employment and ERISA matters, environmental and antitrust matters, among others. In addition to his trial practice, he has handled appellate cases at all levels of state and federal courts, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Weinsteins jury trial skills and experience are reflected by his membership in three nationally recognized, invitation-only professional organizations. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, widely considered to be the premier professional trial organization in America. Membership is limited to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose careers demonstrate the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism. In addition, he holds the advanced rank of Advocate in the American Board of Trial Advocates, limited to trial attorneys who display skill, civility and integrity in achieving a higher level of trial advocacy. Finally, he is a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, another invitation-only organization recognizing superior trial skills and ethics.

Mr. Weinstein won the Best Speaker award in the 1980 National Moot Court Competition, where his three-person team at Texas Tech University School of Law prevailed over a field of 240 law schools nationally. He was subsequently elected into the National Order of Barristers, which recognizes outstanding oral advocacy, and was the valedictory speaker at his law school graduation. He has been invited to speak on trial advocacy skills and other areas related to his practice.
