Julie A. O'Halloran - Lawyer in Jackson, WY

Ms. O'Halloran received an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986 and her law degree from Marquette University in 1989. She was Student Articles Editor for the Marquette Law Review, and recipient of the Zilber Law and American Academy of Matrimonial Law scholarships. In 2012, she obtained a certificate in dispute resolution from Marquette University's Graduate Program in Dispute Resolution.

Ms. O'Halloran enjoyed a successful family law practice in Wisconsin for 25 years. During her time in Wisconsin, she served as Chair of the Divorce Cooperation Institute, President for the Society of Family Lawyers, Chair of the District 2 Committee for the Office of Lawyer Regulation, member of the Board of Directors for the State Bar of Wisconsin's Dispute Resolution section, and member of the Advisory Board for Marquette University Law School.

In April 2015, Ms. O'Halloran relocated to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where she works at Ranck, Schwartz O'Halloran, LLC. She continues to emphasize a practice in family law, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, property division, paternity, and the preparation of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. Ms. O'Halloran's experience includes significant trial work, mediation and other innovative settlement approaches. While she handles all of the fundamentals of a family law practice, she has extensive experience representing professionals, business executives, and high net-worth individuals dealing with issues of business valuations, complex investments, executive compensation, trusts and gifted and inherited assets. She has also represented parents in interstate and international child custody disputes.

Ms. O'Halloran has been peer reviewed as AV Preeminent, the highest performance rating in Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system. She was selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America and Outstanding Lawyers of America in the area of family law, and she has been selected as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer for 10 consecutive years. She has also been named to the Top 25 Woman Wisconsin Super Lawyers and selected by Fortune Magazine as one of their Woman Leaders in the Law in the area of family law.
