John B. Sganga, Jr.is a partner in our Orange County office, where his practice focuses onthe litigation of patent, copyright, trademark and trade secretdisputes. Mr. Sganga has litigated numerous cases through all phases ofpre-trial proceedings, trial, and appeal. He has handled both bench andjury trials, arbitrations, and proceedings before the United StatesInternational Trade Commission. His litigation experience relates to awide variety of technologies and brands relating to medical and dentaldevices, software, computer hardware, telecommunications products,construction products, engine technology, semiconductor processingequipment, food and beverage products, apparel and cosmetics. Mr. Sganga has been published and has lectured extensivelyon intellectual property litigation issues. He currently is an adjunctprofessor at the Chapman University School of Law, teaching a course inpatent litigation. He co-authors the Thomson Reuters treatise,Pre-Litigation Patent Enforcement.
